This is my final design of satan, i have him dress ing sheet metal like the old style robes, rather that 15th century attire. 

Jerkin – Final

As part of the costume project we spent 4 days in the costume department constructing a Medieval Jerkin. I really enjoyed my time there. I finally learnt how to make and use a dress making pattern as well as many useful seeing techniques. I’m really pleased with how my final jerkin turned out and i think it fits my model (Katie Booth) perfectly. I even received some lovely compliments from Jenny and Anne on my work.

The Elf Queen

My designs and processes of the elf queen:

This queen is a mixture of different methods.

I set up y canvas like this so that gravity would assist the paint

because I wanted my queen to embody nature I made her seem fluid by dripping water down the page and allowing ll the paints to blend together.

What do I hope to achieve?

From this project I hope to

• Successfully create an item of medieval clothing
• Research effectively to get resources for character designs
• Design costumes for 6 characters
• Create 6 mini figures that resemble the characters and their costume choices
